We spent the day in planes, cars, airports, busses, in short, we were traveling from Delhi via London to Frankfurt. It was a journey of more than one day because we started in the night to Delhi. We did not really sleep, are very tired and the mind is not working very fast anymore but I hope after this night's sleep in Wiesbaden we will be fresh tomorrow.
We have really made a bad experience with British Airways. On the flight to Delhi in February our luggage got lost and did not come until one week later. Andrea, Melly and Susi, who went home earlier, had the bad luck of coming into the chaos of the newly opened Terminal 5 in Heathrow, London. That is more than ten days ago and yesterday the first of their suitcases arrived. The two others might take quite some time more. Both of our flights today were delayed and we prepared our minds already that we might not get our suitcases in Frankfurt. We passed all of the security checks and just before entering the plane to London they looked into each bag again and at that point they took out our homemade Ayurvedic herbal salt and said we were not allowed to take this. After a lot of discussion they agreed on checking in another one of our bags in which we put the bottle with the salt. The service staff in the plane was everything else than friendly. When we received our meal and saw that there was onion in it we asked for some more bread. We were amazed by the short answer: "No." "Very well, can we have some apple juice?" "We are out of apple juice." This is okay but why does the air hostess carry around a tray with apple juice half an hour later?
At least we did not have any problem at Heathrow (except that the flight was late). And after this long journey we were happy to see our suitcases on the belt in Frankfurt. But the bag with the salt was missing. Well, we were glad that nearly everything was there and we could go out to Thomas who was already waiting to welcome us heartily. The missing bag will also arrive in the next days. Hopefully.
Anyway, after these experiences we consider not to travel with British Airways anymore.

It must be really stressful being a flight attendant, but still, rudeness is never the answer! The woman was probably miserable in her personal life and so she takes it out on other people.
Airplane service is so frustrating! you are stuck in a box in the air with no way out, the least people can do is be friendly.
That sucks!
