On my birthday last week you all read that we distributed medicine to the children of our school to improve their health. Another idea which we had in that time was to start yoga classes with all children together.
When we think an idea is good we usually get it done real quick and this is how we had yoga suits made for the children and brought yoga mats for everyone. Today we then officially started yoga classes for the children. We distributed the pants and sweaters to everyone in a size that fits. On the front of the sweater we printed the school name and on the back it is written ‘I FOUND MY HEART IN VRINDAVAN’. For many years vendors have been selling shirts in Vrindavan that read ‘I LOST MY HEART IN VRINDAVAN’. I never quite understood why they would lose their heart here. I have long been talking about my wish to have a shirt printed with a more positive message and this was our chance. We made a print that says we all found our hearts in Vrindavan.
With this nice message on the back the children started their yoga session today. Yashendu explained, Ramona, Celina and Suraj demonstrated and all children followed. It was beautiful to see them all in their new white suits and they also enjoyed it very much. They could run on the spot, jump, wave their arms and laughed while bending forwards or backwards. We bring the joy of yoga to everybody whom we meet in the world and now our children, too, will experience it daily in the morning.
