Breasts are Breasts – Respect for Others – 15 Aug 10

Yesterday I said how strange it was that there are often half-naked men in temples whereas women are not allowed to enter at all, if they do not cover their head and other body parts properly. In general, you can usually see men walking around topless but you never see women like that. How come a woman’s breast has become that much sexy whereas the male equivalent is not?

Once in a chakra dance party the room got very hot, several men took off their shirts and I just wrapped my dhoti around myself in another way so that I was practically topless. When I did that, a woman said ‘Swami Ji, men can do that, we would also love to this! It is so hot! But we are a bit different, aren’t we?’

Well, actually not so much. This belief is basically created by society. Look at some African tribes where everybody is walking around naked, or only with a loincloth around the waste. There female breasts are not that much of an attraction for men because they are not hidden. Whatever you hide becomes more interesting and more sexy. And as they were hidden for so long, they are very sexy. Otherwise they are just like every other part of the body and not much different than a man’s upper body.

Okay, I admit, they are bigger than a man has but that has simply natural practical reasons. They have to produce milk so that women can feed their babies. However men also have nipples and man will feel the same sensation if you touch them.

Additionally there are also other parts of the body which can be very sexy and where a woman likes to be touched, be it behind the ears, on the thighs, the neck or many other places of the body. Also for men there are many other parts of a woman that can look sexy. Breasts may look beautiful, but an arm can, too. I hope women with beautiful breasts won’t get angry with me, I do not want to be disrespectful, God beware, but don’t you think so?

Mmh, am I writing today’s diary about women’s breasts? Actually it is not about that. It is about respect for others and equality of us all. Of course, society has developed like this, however we respect and follow it. I see all this, that it is actually just natural to be naked and I remember my time in the cave and how it was to be naked 24 hours a day but I would still not walk around naked in the Ashram garden. I just sometimes ask myself why not? What keeps me from doing it is the respect for others.

Today we celebrated India’s Independence Day, some girls performed a dance, all children got cookies and we hoisted the Indian flag.

this is a GREAT topic (for various reasons – haha)
its true its all the same
    yet we have differentiation
which is made real through the thoughts
thinking is the basis of our reality
so how we think is how we perceive

yet there is also thinking prior to the words
    which is causal or vibrational
now what happens here you will know better
as you went deeper than most in this realm
do we (prior to words) vibrate more to nice breasts or not?
    :)) &65

Asheem maine bahut pele punjabi ki kahawat suni thi: asi bramh tusi bramh, Bramh bramh ek. Indri ka kam indri kare bramh rahe nirlep

  3. Asheem Aggarwal

can you translate “indri” & “nirlep”

  4. Swami Balendu

indri means senses and nirlep means untouched. More Ashu can tell you..haha

  5. Asheem Aggarwal

ok now i get it its beautiful
looks like we have to ask Indri about breasts
and leave Bramh out of it 🙂

  6. Yashendu Goswami

Yes now you really got the concept of indri and Bramh. If you see on other way Bramh is always out of everything thats how you call it Bramh. you can ask your Indri about it but also should be asked vice versa 🙂 what is their opinion 🙂

  7. Asheem Aggarwal

it only gets crazy when we see that Indri and Bramh are one and the same

  8. Swami Balendu

Yes this is the point why not bramh can be in indri

  9. Asheem Aggarwal

so the breast story all boils down to this 🙂

In Sweden we have hade an interesting discussion about this recently. Some women wanted to be able to go bare-chested at local bathhouses, and some people reacted negatively. But I think to most people here in Sweden it is a non-issue. People should be able to wear (or not wear) whatever they want to.
Back in the 1980’s, the attitude towards nudity and sex was more liberal than today, and practically everywhere, in parks, at the beach, or anywhere where people gathered to sunbathe, women where topless. Most women didn’t even buy the top part of the bikini, because noone ever wore it.

That has changed, and people have become more prudish again.
I think that’s sad, in more ways than one.

We should not have to be ashamed of our bodies.
They are divine creations, and should be respected as such.

Carl, I do not believe it is as much an issue of shame towards the body as it is the reactions that tend towards the negative when some people see bare breast. I don’t mean to imply that seeing them is negative, only that some people don’t react all that well. It would explain why the liberal attitude towards nudity wanes, as more and more women have negative experiences when topless…

Just few thoughts to the point :Whatever you hide becomes more interesting and more sexy.

This is absolutely true 26 I did hear this so many times not only from men!

And you also can see it with children. For example if you hide something from your youngsters, they become more nosy and want to know about it and they will seek as long as they got it 26 no matter how long it takes nor what it is ! This attitude is very Human and that 19s how we discover so many things and learn to understand. So we can put here in a very nice positive direction. why not use it as a tool. Next time you want that your Children learn something special, then just pretend it is something secret ….and you will see what will happen ;))))

How does something like this change?

  14. Sarah

I like men’s breasts. well, pecks. I like pecks and breasts, they are just great decoration.

  15. Kelly

If women’s breasts were always exposed they would not be such a big deal. it is because we hide them that they are so arousing.

  16. Harry Kilns

I agree swami ji! Respect for all.

  17. Tricia

Poor media tends to take respect and equality out of a lot of aspects in life it seems. So many ways to keep yourself perfect, clean, skinny, beautiful attractive and everything says that you should not be okay with who you are.
