Last week I gave you the recipe for a Vata Tea with ginger and fenugreek. A lot of people have started drinking such and similar ginger teas throughout the day, as they know about its benefits but they don’t remember one thing: ginger increases Pitta! So for those who already have a problem with pitta, if you for example experience heartburn or acidity, it is not the best to drink lots of ginger tea! If you suffer from these problems, you should prefer another tea version: Pitta Tea. Here is the recipe for one using coriander and fennel:
Pitta Tea – Coriander Fennel Tea against Acidity
Enjoy an easy tea that soothes problems with acidity, reduces pitta and thus calms your system.
How long does it take to prepare Pitta Tea?

Ingredients
2 cups Water
1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds
a hand full fresh Coriander
How to prepare Pitta Tea
Start by taking out some juice of the coriander. For this, you wash the coriander leaves, put them into a mortar and crush them with a pestle. Take them out into a clean piece of cotton cloth afterwards and then squeeze out the juice. You will need about half a teaspoon of fresh coriander juice.
When you have the coriander juice bring the water to a boil in a pot. Once it is boiling, add the fennel seeds and then place a lid onto the pot for about one minute. After one minute, switch off the stove and add the coriander juice into it.
Depending on your taste, you can add honey or lemon into the tea.
Enjoy!
