Last week I already gave you the recipe for Palak Raita, a yoghurt sauce with spinach. After that, I got a request by email to post our version of a Mixed Fruit Raita. That, too, is a very simple recipe and can of course look different depending on which fruit you have at home. You can add kiwi, grapes or also other fruit if you like. Just try and find out what is the best combination for you!
Mixed Fruit Raita – Yoghurt Dip with different Fruit

How long does it take to prepare Mixed Fruit Raita?

Ingredients
500 g Yoghurt
1/2 Pineapple
1 Pomegranate
1 Apple
2 Bananas
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
a pinch of Salt
How to prepare Mixed Fruit Raita
Wash your apple, peel the banana, peel the pomegranate and finally also your pineapple. Cut the apple, banana and pineapple into pieces the size of the pomegranate seeds.
Put the yoghurt into a bowl and whip it with a whisk by hand until there are no more solid pieces in the yoghurt. Add the fruit pieces and a pinch of salt and mix it all well.
Heat up a pan without oil and add the cumin seeds. Roast them until they change colour and become dark brown. Take them out of the pan and grind them with mortar and pestle to powder.
You can now mix the cumin powder into the bowl of yoghurt and fruit or use it for decoration on top and mix it later.
