Sometimes when you see or read news you see things that, at first, you can hardly believe. Such a thing I saw yesterday and I could not believe my eyes when I read that B.S. Yeddyurappa, the chief minister (CM) of the Indian state Karnataka, said “There is a conspiracy to eliminate me through black magic”.
I researched on the internet to find more about it and quickly was supplied with information: I knew already that Yeddyurappa belongs to the BJP, a political party I wrote about before, too. They have a rather conservative approach and their aims and goals are always close to the opinion of the RSS, a group of extreme Hindu nationalists. He has been on the news quite frequently in the last days and weeks as he and his family have been accused of a big land scam where they allegedly obtained land for nearly not any payment simply because he was chief minister.
What I did not know until now is that he is also superstitious and believes in black magic attacks. He indirectly accuses the leader of the opposing party that he is performing black magic in order to kill him. Until now I knew that some or even many of our politicians are corrupt, that a lot of money is going into their pockets or the pockets of people they favour but I was always of the opinion that they, even if they are dishonest, are intellectuals, intelligent and educated people who can guide the inhabitants of their country towards freedom of such superstitions!
Really, think about what kind of light this casts on his whole party who chose him as their candidate and what message it gives to the people who elected him! When the CM has this kind of mentality, why would poor and uneducated people learn anything better? Which century are we living in? He is the politic head of the state in which Bangalore, the IT city is capital. Many software engineers learn in this region of India and become famous all over the world!
Now I don’t wonder anymore when I hear that high politicians go to fake gurus like Satya Sai Baba to get his ‘help’ and blessings. They actually believe in this kind of fraud and show their people that they should, too! It is a shame for Indian politicians and our country to give this kind of message and example. You see again, that not only uneducated people are cheated by the irrational creation of fear that gurus simply love to do.
If it was really true that you can do this with black magic, why could we not use black magic on all corrupt politicians and remove them from their posts at once? Wouldn’t it be nice to simply clean up in Indian politics and remove all this dirt? Unfortunately however, this is not reality and this is how we have to listen to statements such as the one of Yeddyurappa.

We have read just now that this will not be the last step in this case: Yeddyurappa will need to defend himself in front of court for this! He actually named his ‘attacker’ of black magic, Siddaramaiah, Leader of Opposition in Karnataka. Obviously it is illegal to say that your political adversary wants to kill you – in whatever way, through magic or not… so not very wise even to say his name!

This has been India’s problem with their politicians: they are corrupt and cases are started against them, they commit crimes even during their term and land in jail and they say this kind of nonsense – which will simply have them lose all their credibility! Of course the congress – the opposing party – makes fun of him!
But I believe that a country like India has no other possibility for the future than to have better politicians – otherwise international conversation will also be difficult!
This kind of thing is very familiar to Americans. Many Republicans say such things as there is no physical evolution, that the earth is only six thousand years old, and that people and dinosaurs were created at the same time and lived at the same time. Also that God created the earth indestructible to the effects of human activity, and therefore there is no reason to fear global warming or the greenhouse effect. The Bush administration shut down much of government climate research because they felt no need for it, because in their view no human activity could possibly effect the climate. They think it says this in the Bible, even though it doesn’t. Now many Republicans believe in a baseless interpretation of the Book of Revelations in the Bible, that the second coming of Christ can only happen after Armageddon or major world war, so therefore we should look forward to more war as a necessary step to get there. So I’m not surprised at all that a politician there in India would have beliefs such as you describe. I would be more surprised in fact if this were not the case.
Very true, they just try to influence their innocent followers by giving such statements. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. India has a larger number of uneducated rich as well as poor class people living in villages, these politicians grab a lots of votes from rural village regions. They give such orthodox and superstitious statements in-order to convince these voters. To get their support and thus to use them to create political instability with strikes and processions. These politicians also call it as CHANAKYA niti,(http://www.hinduism.co.za/chanakya.htm) the so called ancient manipulative tantra by Chanakya. This is also an excellent example of how a wealthy powerful leader can as well use his superior intelligence to protect his selfish motives. Due to which the entire region suffers social-economic developments. After all this the directvictims are the innocent citizens, who are also equally sinful to accept these false convincing explanations. Ultimately the well educated intelligent class of society is thus forced to migrate to cleaner and transparent regions/states/nations. Anyone who stands against the wealthy, powerful leaders will also face serious consequences in reality, thus no one will go against him, thus the powerful leaders are never affected by their false statements. The recent example of USA president landing up with an unwanted war which was manipulative and which lead the entire global economic recession. No doubt the democrats openly criticized it to gather votes, but later after winning the elections the culprit was never punished and can never be punished, only because they very much know how to divide and rule, how to inject instability with destructive politics. They use the FEAR factor to control and rule. Change is not as easy as it seems to be without experienced intellectual individuals who needs to get seriously involved to bring change. Using constructive intelligence is the only solution to break such destructive intelligence. Only an equally wealthy, strong, constructive leader, who can stand up against these issues and the one who can clearly give transparent statements to open the eyes of orthodox, uneducated, poor, superstitious, citizens can help bring change. Wonder what would happen if there were no orthodox superstitious citizens to listen and vote these destructive leaders? Simple, they would have never come to power. Indirectly, it certainly means that the leaders very much need such voters, thus they create them purposely in order to rule. It is the small spark which lightens the lamp for guidance, it can as well destroy creations. May almighty bless with constructive and creative intelligence to achieve humble purpose of life.

You cannot use black magic on all corrupt politicians because they have created powerful shield against black magic using the same black magic technique. Many powerful gurus of India has top level followers because they use the power of black magic to hold such top level followers. Please know this, there are 4 branches of education. The current generation has become more educated in only one or at most two branches of education – out of the 4 major branches (Shashtra, astra, entrepreneurship, worker). The later two branches are where most people have gained expertise. Education of shashtra is concerned with black magic.
Haha, that’s so funny and sad at the same time. How can people in India take this guy seriously? It’s a shame that someone like this man is holding such a position. He should be the one, who is responsible for education and enlightenment, and not the one who confuses and scares the people under him.
