Today I received a mail and would like to reply it in this way. Of course I do not name anybody but the one person asking will get the answer and many others can also have a benefit of it. The person had sad experiences with love and asked for my opinion.
It happens that you love someone very dearly, you give everything that you have and you also believe that you are doing everything you can. In the end however, sometimes very suddenly, there comes disappointment. Big disappointment and big sadness because the other doesn’t respond with the same love, no, there seems to be nothing coming back.
Still you cannot stop loving, cannot stop the flow of love which you permitted so freely. You are asking yourself why you deserve this, it has maybe happened already several times! So maybe you are doing something wrong, there must be something wrong!
I would like to say you one thing: of course, you cannot force anybody to love someone, you cannot tell someone to love but you can be proud of your own love. Love your feelings, love and celebrate your love. You have to love yourself and be proud of the love that you can give to others. In other words you can say that you should love yourself. Never stop loving yourself in this frustration. At the right time you will meet the right person, there is nothing wrong with you and you don’t need to try stopping your love. Don’t create any guilt. Your love is great.

Love the Self, radiate the love, attract and love others in/from a space of love…thank you for sharing, prabhu!
But love IS sad. It’s always coming and going. Of course there is sadness there.
The fact that love moves so much is a cause of fear and fear can cause sadness. Sadness can cause fear. They are constantly in ebb.
Be proud and confident in love! It brings joy and life!
You shouldn’t give up yourself to love. Love happens through the individual, the individual does not exist through love. Keep yourself- the only way to keep your love.
This is beautiful advice, Swami Ji. It can be very painful to give someone lots of love and not receive it in return. But, rather than being afraid to love again, we just have to be joyful and proud of our ability to love others. And one day, someone will enjoy receiving your love and giving it back!!
