Making Happy the Ones you Love – 19 Apr 09

I have been talking about happiness for a few days now and it is my favourite topic which makes it hard for me to stop talking about it. So I will talk a bit more about happiness.

When you love somebody you want to see them happy. This is just the only aim and task that you have if you really love somebody. You cannot really be selfish in that and if it was needed you would even sacrifice your own happiness to make the other one happy. This is a sign of love. You would like to do anything to make your love happy.

I also feel that this is true love: when you want to give happiness. Love for me is giving, not taking. This principal should be the same for happiness. You should give and give. I hope you will not find any controversy with what I said in one of the last diary days. I said you should first make yourself happy. I am actually saying the same thing just in different words. I can tell you this key of love: If you make this effort to make your love happy, you will definitely be happy. You will do it with love and you will enjoy it. Your target is to make your love happy and at the end you are making yourself happy. This is love: you want to make your beloved happy.
