I already told you yesterday that Michael and Andrea are here and how much we are enjoying the time with them. And you know what, it is just wonderful to be together because I feel how happy they are for us, seeing our development. That happiness shows once more that they are real friends – those are the times when it is obvious!
Our friends arrived here late at night. It was dark but the changes at the Ashram from their last visit here two and a half years ago to now are so big that you cannot oversee them, even in the dark! They came in and they were so happy, not only to see us but to see how we have grown as well.
This is what I believe real friendship looks like. There are two ideas of friendship: that you realize who is a real friend when times are bad and they are there for you – or that you only know real friends in good times and they are happy for you!
I think it is a mixture of both and I simply enjoy being with our friends now. That’s how I spend a lot of time with them and don’t really work much these days. We have a whole lot of things to do and are very busy – but one of these things is just being with friends.
