Today we had a Darshan and after the meditation a young woman came to me and asked me: How can I stop my jealousy? I answered: You don’t have to. Don’t try to stop it. If you try to suppress it, you will be aware that it is still there and it will annoy you more and more. So do not suppress it but accept it. Live it. It doesn’t mean that you should go and tell everybody that you are jealous. However if you know you are jealous and you accept it, it will more easily stop. You will see, after a while of being jealous, it is over.
The healing energy makes it possible for people to be natural, to live their feelings. We had a wonderful atmosphere in the Darshan when everyone opened the heart and let the emotions flow. This also meant that several people were crying those tears that they had held back for a long time. And one woman who had a healing session today could not stop laughing. She was laughing loudly and during the whole session. She had healing sessions before but afterwards she said that somehow it had been special today and she felt so free and the laugh just came.
I like to see how the energy frees the emotions that normally are blocked. We live in this artificial world where everybody tries to be different than he naturally is. By culture and society we are taught that we should not be ourselves. No, be yourself, there is nothing to be ashamed or even feel guilty about. Be yourself and express your emotions. In this way everybody can contribute to a real world and an honest society.

Sometimes it’s good to talk through your emotions with yourself, really bringing them to the surface. Explore all aspects of your feelings and why you feel them. Acknowledge them and thank them for helping you be human. Often we find that, after talking through an emotion, you discover that it really isn’t that big of a deal after all and it doesn’t control your life!
